All design and color trends generally start in apparel, and ultimately morph across all areas, including website design. The cycle used to move slowly, but today it goes much faster.
MarthaStewart.com recently published a story that recounted what the experts predicted for paint color trends in 2023. And, while I don't suggest you adopt all "trends," in your website design, it is always interesting to see what the public is gravitating toward.
Martha and her experts predicted the following:
• All shades of brown from a warm beige to taupe, or even dark brown
* A range of reds
• Warmer neutrals such as whites, beiges, tans and grays with warmer undertones
* Green everything
• Pairing warm and cool tones
• Colors that convey comfort and peace, such as a warm white
• Bold accent shades, such as an earthy yellow
